Pattern Recognition
Watching & studying the game constantly can serve your teams to make sure they’re prepared and at their best
Here’s an example from LeBron
Once you’ve mastered the pattern you can manipulate it at your leisure♟️♟️
Here LeBron has studied so much film, that he recognizes what Denver ⚒️ is trying to do and can get the steal.
(Ben Taylor Thinking Basketball)
LeBron recognized the offensive set the Raptors were running and helped a player get in the correct spot.

Must Add Action 🎥
Loyola Hammer 🔨🛠️
Great way to get a three-late game, slip from Krutwig is also open.
Shoutout to coach Patrick who like Dustin is a BHSG: Big Hammer Set Guy!
Alignment With Your Team 💭
You don’t always have to agree, but you better have alignment
Conflict is good in a group - it breeds competition and the best out of people as long as you have the foundation set.
Tom Brady on this…
After his second year at the University of Michigan, Tom Brady contemplated transferring because he rarely played in games and had limited practice opportunities. Frustrated, he met with his coach, who advised him to focus on his own development rather than comparing himself to other players. The coach encouraged Brady to become the best he could be and recommended working with a sports psychologist, Greg Harden.
During his first meeting with Harden, Brady complained about getting only two practice reps. Harden's response was simple: make the most of those two reps and do them perfectly.
Brady took this advice to heart, approaching those two reps with enthusiasm and energy. “So that's what I did,” Brady said. “They'd put me in for those 2 reps, man, I'd sprint out there like it was Super Bowl 39. 'Let's go boys! Here we go! What play we got?’”
He steadily improved and received more opportunities, ultimately becoming the team's starting quarterback.
The key takeaways from this story are that focusing on what you can control and striving for excellence in your current situation can lead to success and open up new opportunities. Mark Cuban's advice to "be great" in challenging circumstances resonates with this message, emphasizing that by excelling at your current role, you can attract recognition and advancement. Brady's attitude of aiming to be the best he could be, irrespective of others, is a valuable principle for achieving personal and professional growth.

“I never once in my life ever said I wanted to be the best of all time. Ever. I wanted to be the best I could be, period. I learned that in college. It didn’t matter what the other guys were doing. It mattered what I was doing.” — Tom Brady
