Gizellig 🎯 a Culture
How Ted Lasso was created in Amsterdam!
Listen to the creators of Ted’s character describe the character’s inception around a word.
Gizellig- Creating a culture or feeling where people can be themselves.
The character Ted Lasso creates the GIZELLIG feeling of a culture. Ted changes the environment around him.
Ted is Ignorant & Curious.
He loves ppl for who they are as opposed to hating them for who they’re not.

An example of Ted being Ignorant & Curious (Gizellig Vibe)
Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak. Sun Tzu
Be curious, not judgmental.
Enjoy! 🎯

When there are gaps in communication, negativity fills them. One way to not have gaps is to do this. Have open lines of dialogue. Allow ppl to feel the GIZELLIG CULTURE.
“Always move towards better.”

Turning Boos into Fuel 🎧
Novak Djokovic's resilience was on full display at Wimbledon this week, where he faced a crowd rooting for his opponent, Holger Rune. The typically courteous English crowd used chants of "Ruuuuuuune" to sound like boos directed at Novak, but he remained unfazed. Despite the chair umpire not intervening in this grey area, Djokovic's mental fortitude shone through as he went on to win the match.
Djokovic has been open about the importance of mental strength in professional sports. He has worked hard to transform a former weakness into one of his greatest assets, focusing specifically on mental training. In a previous interview, he highlighted the significance of emotional recovery: “One of the biggest things we’ve learned about mental strength: Recovery of how long you stay in that emotion is what differentiates you from others.”
Far from being a distraction, Djokovic uses the crowd's energy to fuel his performance. Prepared for far more hostile environments, his experience and mental preparedness rendered the crowd's attempts to disrupt him ineffective. His message to the crowd and his opponents was clear: “I’ve played in much more hostile environments. You guys can’t touch me.”
For Djokovic, being a professional means always being ready and turning any situation, even a seemingly negative one, into an advantage.
“Gizellig Vibes in Philly”
Last December, Trea Turner signed an 11-year $300 million contract with/ the Philadelphia Phillies.
He proceeded to play some of the worst baseball of his career.
As his performance plummeted, the Philly fans lost support, booing him ruthlessly.
Famously- a famous fan “The Philly Captain” posted a video that said let’s not boo Turner, let’s give him a standing ovation every time he comes to bat. “Our boy is in his head, he needs some love.” The fan acknowledged the confidence issue head-on, as opposed to allowing it to grow. The next night, Turner hit the game-winning RBI to give the Phillies the lead.
Since the ovations, Turner had played some of the best baseball of his career. Turner bought billboards around the city that said “Thank you, Philly.”
