Steal Like an Artist 📖
Ever heard the story of Picasso and the napkin?
Legend has it that Picasso was at a Paris market when an admirer approached and asked if he could do a quick sketch on a paper napkin for her. Picasso politely agreed, promptly created a drawing, and handed back the napkin — but not before asking for a million Francs.
The lady was shocked: “How can you ask for so much? It took you five minutes to draw this!”
“No”, Picasso replied, “It took me 40 years to draw this in five minutes.”
In this simple but profound statement, Picasso encapsulated the essence of his artistic development. He was not merely asking for compensation for the physical act of drawing on a napkin; he was asking for recognition of the years, the practice, the experimentation, and the dedication that had led him to possess the skill to create such a masterpiece in mere minutes.
If you don't value what you do then your prospects won't either.
Picasso famously said, "All people are born artists, the problem is remaining an artist as we grow up."
I believe we don't grow into creativity, we grow out of it.

Coaching Thought 💭
In Joe Ehrmann’s book Inside Out Coaching, How Sports Can Transform Lives, Joe presents us with four essential questions to ask ourselves:
1 Why do I coach?
2 Why do I coach the way that I do?
3 How does it feel to be coached by me?
4 How do I define success?
We have always believed that the most challenging of these questions is to answer how it feels to be coached by me. First, it causes all of us to really examine the impact we have had on each athlete throughout the season and secondly, it challenges us to come up with a way to get honest feedback.
🔥 BONUS 🔥 - Ball Movement
A couple of years ago we did a study on some of the top teams in college basketball:
Zero Reversals = .63ppp
One Reversal = .83ppp
Two Reversals = 1.1ppp
🔑 Emphasize reversing the ball with your teams!
