A team is not a group of people that work together. A team is a group of people who TRUST each other.

Sticky Saying To Build Trust

β€œGOT YOUR SIX”

A military phrase that originated with American fighter pilots in WW1

  • Analog clock positions indicate position

    • 12 o'clock = straight ahead

    • 6 o'clock = directly behind

  • In a dogfight, a pilot’s wingman was responsible for his

NAVY SEALS {TRUST}

How can this help on and off the court?

It creates:

  1. Trust and Dependability

  2. Accountability

  3. Selflessness

  4. Communication

  5. Building Unity

Key’s to earn Trust πŸ”‘

By Bill Belichick & Becky Hammon

1. Star in your role: when you define your role and act on it, you earn respect, with respect, you earn trust.

2. Words = Actions: when words and actions line up, it proves you’re reliable.

3. When you are accountable to someone else or something bigger than you, the desired results are more likely.

4. To overlook or excuse character issues because of talent makes the athletic experience meaningless. On great teams, no one is exempt from accountability.

5. Start to ask deeper questions from your team, they will do the same, and this forms connections before pressure situations which ultimately puts them together. When you don’t prepare for this, they will not be together during pressure situations.

The T.R.U.S.T. mantra by Becky Hammon

  • Trust

  • Remember

  • Unwavering

  • Secure

  • Together

β€œYou play more freely when you know someone has your back.”

Must Add Actions πŸŽ₯

TEAM USA β€œSpain Low Splits” πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Clever way to grow from Stack to immediately into the next Action using a shooter like Curry and the strong side corner (Jrue).

BELOW THE PAY LINE UCLA tried six different coverages to combat UM’s 4-5 Pick & Roll with Danny Wolf & Vlad Goldin.

Check out how the Wolverines were ready for the coverages (Below) IQ.
