Now onto teams some of the greatest teams to ever play in the Final Four:
There have been many great Men's and Women's Final Four teams in college basketball history, but here are a few of the best:
🏀 Men's Final Four:
1976 Indiana Hoosiers - This team is widely considered to be one of the greatest college basketball teams of all time. They went undefeated (32-0) and dominantly won the national championship.
1992 Duke Blue Devils - led by Christian Laettner and Bobby Hurley, and they won their second consecutive national championship in 1992. They finished the season with a record of 34-2.
1968 UCLA Bruins - led by Lew Alcindor (later known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) and won the first of three consecutive national championships. They finished the season with a record of 29-1.
🏀 Women's Final Four:
2002 Connecticut Huskies - This team was led by Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi and went undefeated (39-0) en route to winning the national championship. They are widely considered to be one of the greatest women's college basketball teams of all time.
1998 Tennessee Lady Vols - This team was led by Chamique Holdsclaw and won the national championship with a record of 39-0.
2012 Baylor Lady Bears - This team was led by Brittney Griner and won the national championship with a record of 40-0. They are the only team in NCAA women's basketball history to finish the season with 40 wins and no losses.
